Current Obsessions: Save the Dates

And we’re back! A handful of days into September and the design world’s back in full swing. From exhibits and openings to Jeremy Allen White sightings, here are 19 things we noted this week (including two spots to find us this month).

• “It’s the final weekend of The Summit Show, an outdoor art show in Skinner State Park, Hadley, MA,” writes Margot. “There are mountain trails hung with work by 40 artists curated by Charlotte Kohlmann (sister of Emma). I’ll be there with my dog.” Stop by if you’re in the area!
• And you’re cordially invited to “Everyday Heirlooms: Exquisitely Designed Wooden Objects of Use”, co-curated by Remodelista editor Annie and furniture maker Heide Martin, with an opening reception September 26 in Rockland, Maine. Come say hi.

• New Yorkers, stop in Thursday, September 11, at Take Me With You (63 Bond Street) from 6-8 for the opening of APPLES to APPLES: “an installation of reinvented objects by Hilary Robertson + Skilset.” Consider us intrigued.
